Shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Syria with Gulf International Shipping start from SAR 73 for a small parcel or documents, SAR 165 for a carton up to 25 kg, SAR 1,100 for a complete bedroom from Tabuk, SAR 3,680 for a small apartment, SAR 3,220 for an eligible sedan and SAR 23 per kg by air. Prices are lowest from Tabuk and Madinah, the closest cities to Syria, and rise with the distance of the loading city; delivery to Aleppo, Latakia or Hasakah also costs more than Damascus.
This page brings all our Syria price lists together: a Kingdom-wide table, a table for each loading city, then cartons by weight, furniture, cars and air freight. None of the figures are guesses. Each price starts from the lowest “from” rate that shipping companies publish in the same city, reduced by about 8%. Where no company publishes prices for a city, we use the nearest city that does, and a city closer to Syria is never priced above a more distant one for the same item.

Approximate shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Syria
This table sums up our lowest prices across the Kingdom. The smaller number in each cell is our starting rate; the larger one is where the item usually ends up when the loading city is further away, the volume is bigger or the destination is in northern or coastal Syria.
Note: road freight takes from 4–7 working days out of Tabuk to 8–11 working days out of Dammam to Damascus, and air freight 3–5 days door to door.

Why do Syria shipping prices differ between Saudi cities?
The first reason is distance. Tabuk is only about 650 km from Damascus, while Dammam is close to 1,800 km away, which means more fuel, more driver days and more road costs. The second is the market itself: published rates in Riyadh are higher than in Jeddah or Tabuk, and some include dismantling, packing and reassembly in the room price. We follow each city’s market and price below it, with one fixed rule: a city closer to Syria is never dearer than a more distant one for the same item.
Shipping prices from Riyadh to Syria
Shipments from Riyadh and Qassim cross at Al-Haditha. Here is the full list:
Districts, route and flights from the capital: shipping from Riyadh to Syria.
Shipping prices from Dammam and the Eastern Province to Syria
Companies publish no Dammam-specific prices, and Riyadh is the nearest city that does, so Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail and Al-Ahsa use the Riyadh list with no surcharge, even though the road from the east is about a day longer: a 25 kg carton from SAR 165, a complete bedroom from SAR 2,575, a small apartment from SAR 3,680 and a villa from SAR 13,800. Direct flights run from Dammam to Damascus, with air freight from SAR 23 per kg. Read shipping from Dammam to Syria.
Shipping prices from Jeddah, Makkah and Taif to Syria
Jeddah has detailed per-item published prices; Makkah and Taif do not, so both use the Jeddah list as the nearest priced city. Items Jeddah does not publish, such as the per-kg rate and insurance, come from the Riyadh list.
City-specific details: shipping from Jeddah to Syria, Makkah to Syria and Taif to Syria.
Shipping prices from Madinah to Syria
Madinah sits nearer to Syria than either Jeddah or Riyadh, and local companies publish their own rates. Where a published Madinah rate was higher than Jeddah or Riyadh for the same item, we brought it down to the more distant city’s price.

Shipping prices from Tabuk to Syria
Tabuk is the nearest Saudi city to Syria, so it has our lowest prices. Items Tabuk companies do not publish come from the Madinah, Jeddah or Riyadh lists, and published Tabuk rates above Madinah’s were brought down.
Tabuk has no direct flight to Damascus, so air shipments go via Riyadh or Jeddah at SAR 23 per kg, though the road from Tabuk is quick anyway. Details in shipping from Tabuk to Syria.
Carton and parcel prices to Syria by weight
Most of what goes from the Kingdom to Syria is cartons of clothes, gifts and family consignments. These are our lowest Kingdom-wide prices for them:
How to pack a carton and the accepted weights are shown in cartons and parcels shipping to Syria with examples.
Furniture shipping prices to Syria: room, apartment and villa
A returning Syrian’s furniture can enter duty-free once, with conditions that include an embassy-certified list and quantities suited to one family, so customs adds nothing to the price when the conditions are met. The full conditions are in Syria used household goods customs, while our furniture moving from Saudi Arabia to Syria page explains packing room by room.
Car shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Syria
Moving a sedan starts from SAR 3,220, an SUV from SAR 4,140 and a luxury car from SAR 5,520, on an open or enclosed carrier to Nassib. These prices apply only to cars Syria accepts: new cars no more than two model years old and an expatriate’s car on temporary entry, since imports of used cars for local use are currently suspended. They exclude Syrian customs duty, about 20% for a conventional car under the current tariff. Before booking, check your car’s eligibility in car shipping from Saudi Arabia to Syria first.
What is the air freight price per kg to Syria?
Published air rates to Syria run at SAR 25–40 per kg; ours sit below that, at SAR 23 per kg and SAR 230 for a 10 kg parcel. Direct flights serve Damascus from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, and from Madinah and Taif according to the airline schedule, plus Riyadh to Aleppo. Parcels arrive door to door in 3–5 days. You pay on whichever is higher, actual or volume weight, and volume weight is normally found by multiplying the three sides in centimetres and dividing by 5,000.
Example: a 60 × 50 × 40 cm carton that weighs 9 kg on the scale works out at 24 kg by volume, so you pay for 24 kg, about SAR 552 by air. The same carton by road falls within the 25 kg carton price from SAR 165. That is why we recommend air only for papers, medicines and small, dense items. For flight schedules and weights, open our air freight from Saudi Arabia to Syria page.
Does the price change with the Syrian city?
Yes. The prices above are for delivery in Damascus and its surroundings, and in Daraa and Sweida near Nassib. Beyond Damascus the trip runs 162 km to Homs, 362 km to Aleppo, 332 km to Latakia and further to Deir ez-Zor, Hasakah and Qamishli, so the Syrian truck’s fare after the transfer rises.
How is the cost of shipping to Syria calculated?
When you send photos of your goods, we price them from these components and send you the breakdown:
- Volume in cubic metres or weight: furniture by volume, parcels by weight or carton, air by the greater of actual and volumetric
- Shared or dedicated truck: shared splits the cost; dedicated shortens the time
- Loading city: lower from Tabuk, higher from the Eastern Province
- Labour at the house: taking furniture apart, wrapping, putting it back together, stairs and lift use
- Transfer at Nassib: unloading and reloading onto the Syrian truck
- Syrian city: every kilometre beyond Damascus counts
- Insurance and clearance: insurance at 0.9% of value; clearance by shipment type
A rough example: a Madinah household sends a bedroom (SAR 1,380), a wooden kitchen (SAR 1,100) and a large fridge (SAR 735) to Damascus, starting from about SAR 3,215 before optional insurance. Loaded in Tabuk instead, the same items would start at SAR 1,100, SAR 1,100 and SAR 460, about SAR 2,660 in all.
Shared or dedicated truck: which saves you more?

A practical rule: if your goods fill less than half a truck and your date is flexible, shared is cheaper. If you are moving a whole home or need your belongings on a set date, dedicated suits you better, and the price gap may be smaller than you think.
What does the Syria shipping price include?
Included
collection from your home, packing per package, the Fasah declaration, haulage to the border, Jordanian transit, transfer coordination and delivery in Syria.
Not included
Syrian customs duty on dutiable goods, such as new items and cars, and temporary-entry fees.
Optional
insurance from 0.9% of value, storage before shipping, full reassembly in distant cities.
Case by case
customs clearance, quoted before loading, not after.
Be careful with a price that looks too low
Some low offers leave out the transfer at Nassib and the delivery beyond the border, and those costs appear once the shipment arrives. Always ask: is this price to my door in the Syrian city, or only to the crossing?
What is the cheapest way to ship from Saudi Arabia to Syria?
- a shared load instead of a dedicated truck when the date is flexible
- road instead of air for anything that is not urgent
- cartons close to 25 or 30 kg rather than many small ones
- leaving behind heavy old furniture worth less than the cost of moving it
- having the certified relief list ready for returnees so no duty is paid on used goods
- loading from our warehouse in your city if your home is hard to reach
Traders sometimes ask about sea freight: we can arrange a full commercial container from Jeddah to a Syrian port with a vessel change, but it saves nothing on furniture or parcels, for which the road through Jordan is both cheaper and quicker. A 20 ft container carried by truck starts from SAR 5,520.
Documents, prohibited items and their effect on cost
Missing papers are the main reason costs rise after booking, because the shipment waits in the yard. For furniture and parcels, three things are enough: a copy of your ID or iqama, an accurate carton-by-carton list and our Fasah authorisation; commercial goods add an invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. We do not accept items banned in Syria, chiefly motorcycles of every kind, weapons, walkie-talkies and drones, goods of Israeli origin, gas cylinders and flammables.
Payment and insurance
Payment is made in Saudi riyals and within the Kingdom only, and we accept nothing beyond personal belongings and permitted civilian goods. Insurance is optional from 0.9% of the value you declare, and we recommend it for valuable furniture, appliances and cars. You receive updates all the way to delivery.
