Shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Morocco with Gulf International Shipping start at SAR 73 for documents, SAR 110 for a parcel up to 5 kg, SAR 138 for clothing cartons, SAR 1,380 for a bedroom set, then for containers SAR 780 a metre in shared space, SAR 4,140 for a twenty-footer and SAR 6,440 for a forty-footer, plus SAR 4,600 to ship a car younger than five years and SAR 1,655 for an express air parcel. Because every Morocco-bound ship leaves from Jeddah Islamic Port, the Hejaz cities next to it pay least and prices climb with distance from the quay, while transit runs from about 20 to 34 days depending on how far your city is from Jeddah.
This page brings together our prices from every Saudi origin in one place: Jeddah, Makkah, Taif, Madinah, Riyadh, Tabuk and Dammam, for everything from a small parcel to a full container or a car. We explain why the price changes from one city to another, what is included and what you pay to Moroccan customs, when a full container works out cheaper than shared space, and how to tell a realistic advert from one that will cost you more in the end. Every figure here is a starting price; the final quote depends on the volume and the Moroccan town.

Approximate shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Morocco
Below are the shipments we are asked about most. Read each price cell left to right: our lowest starting figure comes first, followed by the level the same shipment typically reaches elsewhere in the market:
Note: by sea, allow from about 20 days for the Hejaz up to about 34 days for the Eastern Province; air takes a few days. The figures above are for the Hejaz cities, and every other city has its own table further down.
Why do prices differ between Saudi cities?
Because shipping to Morocco is essentially sea freight, and every city sails from the same port: Jeddah Islamic Port. The sea leg costs roughly the same for everyone; the difference comes from the road your goods travel before they reach the quay. Jeddah needs only a run across town, Makkah is about 80 km away and Taif about 170 km, whereas a truck from Riyadh covers about 950 km and one from Dammam 1,300–1,400 km. So we apply a fixed rule: a city nearer the port is never priced above a city further away for the same item.
Note: distances are approximate highway figures. Riyadh and Tabuk are a similar distance from the port, and each has its own prices.
You may notice that some items from distant cities cost much the same as from Jeddah, such as containers, cars and office furniture. That is because they reach the port on regular trucks and runs whose cost is shared, while small parcels and single heavy appliances feel the distance more.
Comparing Morocco shipping prices across Saudi cities
The table below sets the main items side by side for each city; all figures are in Saudi riyals and are starting prices:
Note: air freight per kg, clearance and insurance are quoted on request in every city, and an urgent air parcel starts at SAR 1,655 from anywhere.
Shipping prices from Jeddah, Makkah and Taif to Morocco
The three Hejaz cities are the closest to Jeddah Islamic Port, so they carry our lowest prices on most items. In Jeddah, goods are collected and the container loaded the same day or the next; from Makkah and Taif the truck reaches the port within hours. Here are the additional items not shown in the comparison table:
City details, from districts and governorates to airports, are in shipping from Jeddah to Morocco, shipping from Makkah to Morocco and shipping from Taif to Morocco.
Shipping prices from Madinah and Tabuk to Morocco
Madinah is about 420 km from Jeddah port and Tabuk about 1,000 km, and goods from both travel by road to Jeddah before sailing. Madinah is closer to the port, so its prices never exceed those of Tabuk or Riyadh on any item. Tabuk is roughly as far as Riyadh, and has low rates on parcels and cartons:
Each city has its own page: shipping from Madinah to Morocco and shipping from Tabuk to Morocco.
Shipping prices from Riyadh to Morocco
Riyadh sends more Moroccan shipments than any other Saudi city, from students finishing their studies to families moving whole households. Trucks from Riyadh cover about 950 km to Jeddah port, which pushes up some heavy items compared with the Hejaz, while containers and cars stay at the same price. The additional items:
Collection across Riyadh’s districts and direct flights from its airport are covered in shipping from Riyadh to Morocco.
Shipping prices from Dammam and the Eastern Province to Morocco
Dammam, Khobar and Al-Ahsa are the furthest Saudi cities from Jeddah port, and Gulf International Shipping trucks their cargo about 1,300–1,400 km before it sails, so single items carry the highest prices: parcels from SAR 365, a fridge from SAR 1,655, a washing machine from SAR 1,100 and a bedroom from SAR 3,220. The picture changes with a full container, though: a 20 ft box still starts at SAR 4,140 as in every other city, which is why we advise Eastern Province families moving a whole home to ship by container rather than by the piece. Carton and parcel prices to Morocco by weight
Cartons and parcels are what Moroccan residents send home most: Eid clothes, gifts, books and students’ belongings. Gulf International Shipping prices them by weight and volume and ships them consolidated by sea, or by air when they are urgent:
Note: a parcel sent by sea travels with the shared container and takes its time; for speed, the urgent air parcel starts at SAR 1,655.
Small parcels need good packing more than anything, because they are stacked with many other consignments. Write the receiver’s name, Moroccan phone number and town on every carton, and keep a list of what is inside. Read cartons and parcels to Morocco for what is and is not allowed.
Furniture shipping prices to Morocco: room, apartment and villa
Furniture is priced in one of two ways: by the piece or room when there is not much of it, and by volume or container when it is a whole home. A complete bedroom starts at SAR 1,380 from the Hejaz, a bedroom with its cartons in shared space from SAR 2,300, a complete household from SAR 3,680, and a living room or majlis from SAR 1,655 from Jeddah. Once the volume passes a few cubic metres, the calculation moves to containers: 20 ft for a two- or three-bedroom flat, 40 ft for villas and larger homes.
Before we send a price, we estimate the volume of your goods. We ask for photos of each room or a list of pieces, or visit if the shipment is large, then calculate cubic metres after dismantling and packing rather than before, because a bed taken apart takes up a fraction of its assembled space. That step is what keeps the final price close to the estimate, with no surprises on loading day. The furniture guide covers packing and inventories: furniture moving from Saudi Arabia to Morocco.

Shared or full container: which costs less?
In a shared container you pay from SAR 780 per cubic metre; in a 20 ft container you pay a fixed price from SAR 4,140 however much you put in. The break-even point is around 5.3 cubic metres: below it, shared space is cheaper; above it, the full container wins. A 40 ft container starts at SAR 6,440, so the price per metre is lower still for anyone with villa furniture, or a home and a car.
Note: a shared container can wait up to 7 extra days while it fills, whereas a full container moves as soon as it is loaded.
Money is not the only factor. A full container is sealed at your door or in our warehouse and not opened until Moroccan customs, while a shared one is unloaded in Morocco with other consignments before delivery. That is why many families choose a full container even close to the break-even point. For container sizes and sailing routes, see sea freight from Saudi Arabia to Morocco.

Car shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Morocco
Car shipping starts at SAR 4,600 from any Saudi city, in a closed container from Jeddah port. That price applies to a passenger car under 5 years old, because Morocco does not register older cars except in a few cases. Shipping the car together with your home? A forty-footer holds both, from SAR 6,440. Moroccan customs duty and 20% VAT are calculated by customs on each car according to its value, fiscal horsepower and registration year, and are outside the freight price. What is the air freight price per kg to Morocco?
The per-kg air rate to Morocco changes with actual and volumetric weight, the flight and the season, so we do not publish a fixed figure; ask for a quote on WhatsApp to get the day’s rate. The one fixed figure is our urgent air parcel, from SAR 1,655, which usually reaches the receiver within a week. Only two Saudi airports have nonstop flights to Morocco: Riyadh, where Saudia operates to Casablanca, and Jeddah, linked to Casablanca by Royal Air Maroc, Saudia and flynas and to Rabat by flynas, subject to the airline schedule. Parcels from Dammam, Madinah, Taif and Tabuk connect through one of the two.
Air is worth its price for papers, permitted medicines, light gifts and urgent items, but not for furniture and heavy appliances, where a kilo by air costs several times as much as by sea. Flights and cut-offs are covered in air freight from Saudi Arabia to Morocco.
What does the Morocco shipping price include, and what does it not?
Customs clearance in Morocco is available on request and priced by shipment type, and delivery from the port to the door is included when we agree a door-to-door service. If you are a Moroccan ending your stay in the Kingdom, your used household goods qualify for a duty exemption up to a customs ceiling, one time per household, against a change-of-residence certificate and a dated, signed inventory; check the conditions before loading, and read more in household goods for residents returning to Morocco.
Does the price change with the Moroccan town?
Yes, though by less than the difference between Saudi cities. Deliveries to Tangier, Tetouan, Fes, Meknes, Rabat and Casablanca are closest to the arrival ports, so they sit at the lower end of both price and time. Marrakech, Agadir, Oujda, Nador and Errachidia add a longer drive inside Morocco, so the price rises a little and the time by two to four days. The southern provinces such as Laayoune and Dakhla are priced on request. That is why we always ask for the Moroccan town before quoting.
How is the cost of shipping to Morocco calculated?
Gulf International Shipping builds the cost from six elements: the type of shipment (parcels, furniture, goods or a car), its volume in cubic metres or its weight, the shipping method (shared, full container or air), the level of packing, the Saudi collection city and the Moroccan town. Two examples:
- A student in Riyadh: four cartons of clothes and books plus an envelope of documents. The calculation starts at SAR 640 for the clothing cartons and SAR 92 for the documents, shipped consolidated by sea, with the option of flying the documents if they are urgent.
- A family in Jeddah: a three-bedroom flat estimated at about 12 cubic metres after dismantling. In shared space the calculation starts at 12 × 780 = SAR 9,360, whereas a 20 ft container starts at SAR 4,140, so we recommend the full container and confirm the size after a survey.
Which is the cheapest way to send goods from Saudi Arabia to Morocco?
- Consolidated sea freight for small loads: parcels from SAR 110 and shared space from SAR 780 per m³.
- Book a whole box past roughly 5 m³: beyond that, one flat container price beats a per-metre bill.
- A 40 ft container for home and car together: cheaper than shipping them separately.
- Load from the city nearest Jeddah port: if you have family or storage in Jeddah or Makkah, gathering your goods there lowers the price of single items.
- Reduce the volume: do not ship heavy old pieces that are easy to replace in Morocco.
- Book early before summer: demand for shipping to Morocco climbs ahead of the summer holidays.
Warning signs in Morocco shipping price adverts
A very low price can end up costing you more. These are claims you will see in adverts that deserve a question before you pay:
- “Sea delivery in 7–10 days”: the voyage from Jeddah to Tanger Med alone is about 10 days, and the realistic door-to-door time is 20–34 days.
- “Road freight to Morocco”: a sea and a continent separate the two countries, and no Saudi truck drives there.
- “Ship a car for two thousand riyals, customs included”: work out a fifth of your car’s value for VAT alone and the figure falls apart.
- “Up to 40% or 50% off”: ask for the price after the discount and what it covers, not the percentage.
- “20 ft container from SAR 1,300”: that does not even cover moving the box to the port, and extra charges usually follow.
- “We pay Moroccan customs for you”: duties are charged to the receiver in Morocco, and whoever pays them for you will add them to your bill.
Transit time against price
Sea freight is far cheaper but takes weeks; air is quick but expensive. Approximate times from each city to Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca and Fes:
Note: deliveries to Marrakech, Agadir or Oujda need two to four extra days, and a shared box may sit for up to a week while it fills; vessel timetables, clearance and Red Sea conditions all play a part.
Payment and insurance
Payment is in riyals in Saudi Arabia, and before loading day you receive a WhatsApp breakdown listing what the amount covers and what it leaves out. Insurance is your choice; its cost follows the value and nature of your goods, which is why there is no single rate to publish, so mention it when you ask for your price and we will add it.
