At Gulf International Shipping, shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon start at SAR 92 for a parcel weighing up to 5 kg and SAR 184 for one up to 20 kg. Grouped road cargo is SAR 11 a kilo, a whole bedroom from SAR 920, an entire household from SAR 3,680, an eligible small car (8 years old at most) from SAR 2,300, and air cargo from SAR 32 a kilo. These are the lowest starting points in the Kingdom, mostly from Tabuk, Madinah and Taif; they rise in Riyadh, Jeddah and Makkah and are highest in Dammam, the farthest city from Lebanon. A road shipment takes 5–12 working days depending on where it is loaded.
This page is the price reference for every Lebanon guide on our site. It brings together the tables for the seven Saudi cities we ship from, explains where each figure comes from, why the same item costs more in one city than another, and what the price covers versus what you pay Lebanese customs. Every table follows one rule: we looked up the cheapest published rate per item, city by city, and pitched ours roughly 8% lower. When a city had no published figure for something, we borrowed it from the closest city that had one, never an estimate.

Approximate shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon
This table sums up the lowest price for each type of shipment across the Kingdom. Each range shows where our price starts and then the usual upper figure for larger loads or more distant cities; both are drawn from published prices, not guesses.
Note: by road, Tabuk shipments take 5–8 working days, Madinah 7–10, the Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Taif group 8–12, and Dammam 9–12; air cargo arrives within 3–5 days.
How to read these prices
- “From” means the smallest size from the nearest city: the SAR 92 parcel is a light parcel from Tabuk or Madinah; from Dammam the same parcel starts at SAR 276.
- The price covers the whole road: from your door in the Kingdom to your door in Lebanon, including the transfer at Nassib.
- It does not include Lebanese state charges: VAT and customs duty, where due, are paid to customs.
- The Lebanese area matters: the Bekaa and Beirut are closer than the North, the South and mountain villages, so ask for a quote if the address is remote.
Why do prices differ between Saudi cities?
Because the distance to Lebanon varies a great deal. Tabuk is the nearest Saudi city, only about 750 km from Beirut via the Halat Ammar crossing; then comes Madinah at about 1,350–1,400 km, Riyadh and Jeddah at about 1,650–1,800 km, then Makkah, and finally Taif and Dammam at about 1,850 km. Each city also has its own going rates published by the firms based there, and we built each city’s table on that market, so a farther city can occasionally be cheaper for a given item where its market publishes lower rates.
We did add one rule to prevent contradictions: no city nearer to Lebanon costs more for an item than a city further away. So some Tabuk and Madinah items were brought down to a farther city’s price where their published figure was higher. This table compares the most requested items across cities:
Note: prices in Saudi riyals, all “from”. Grouped road freight starts at SAR 11/kg, air at SAR 32/kg and clearance at SAR 276 in every city.
Shipping prices from Riyadh to Lebanon
Riyadh sends the widest mix of shipments, from students’ boxes to whole homes and trade cargo, and has a broad published price list that ours is built on. Riyadh and Qassim loads leave through Al-Haditha and are on the road 8–12 working days before delivery in Beirut or the Bekaa.
Districts and route details are in shipping from Riyadh to Lebanon.
Eastern Province prices: Dammam, Khobar and Al-Ahsa to Lebanon
Dammam is the farthest loading point and its published prices are the highest, so its figures sit above Riyadh for most items. We use its table for Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail, Qatif and Al-Ahsa as well. What Dammam does not publish, such as kitchens, containers and cars, we take from Riyadh.
Route and timings for the Eastern Province are in shipping from Dammam to Lebanon.
Western region prices: Jeddah, Makkah and Taif to Lebanon
The three western cities are close in distance but each has a different published list. Jeddah prices furniture piece by piece, so it has separate rates for a bed, a wardrobe and a sofa. Makkah publishes small items and appliances, and what it does not list we take from Jeddah as the nearest city. Taif has a lower list than both on most items, and we do not raise it just because it is farther away.
Note: prices in SAR, all “from”. A dash (—) means the item is not published on its own in that city, so we price it with your shipment. Delivery from all three takes about 8–12 working days.
Makkah also lists items you will not find elsewhere: gifts and personal items from SAR 92, household utensils from SAR 230, sports equipment from SAR 320, an office furniture piece from SAR 460, and art and antiques from SAR 550. Jeddah adds light goods by the cubic metre from SAR 230, light equipment from SAR 640, heavy goods at SAR 1,100 upwards and heavy machinery at SAR 2,300 upwards. For the details: Jeddah to Lebanon, Makkah to Lebanon and Taif to Lebanon.
Shipping prices from Madinah and Tabuk to Lebanon
These two are the nearest cities to Lebanon and ship through Halat Ammar, so they have the lowest prices in the Kingdom. Tabuk is about 750 km from Beirut and its shipments arrive in 5–8 working days; Madinah is about 1,350–1,400 km away and takes 7–10 days.
Note: prices in SAR, all “from”; a dash means the item is priced with the shipment. Tabuk items published above Madinah were brought down to Madinah’s rate because Tabuk is closer.
Tabuk also has its own items: a small kitchen appliance from SAR 230, décor and a TV from SAR 276, paintings from SAR 410, a single bed, a rug and a washer from SAR 460, electrical appliances from SAR 505, a fridge from SAR 550 and a full office from SAR 825. Details are in Madinah to Lebanon and Tabuk to Lebanon.
Carton and parcel prices to Lebanon by weight
Parcels are priced by weight, and a large light carton may be charged on its volume if the volume outweighs the weight. These are the lowest rates in the Kingdom:
A shared parcel travels with other customers’ parcels, so expect 3–5 extra days while the truck is filled. For packing tips, family consignments and students’ boxes see cartons and parcels shipping to Lebanon.
Furniture shipping prices to Lebanon: room, apartment and villa
Furniture is priced on volume in cubic metres, but customers usually ask by the room, so here are the starting points for each size:
The price includes dismantling, packing, loading and reassembly in Lebanon. If you are Lebanese and returning for good, your used household goods may be exempt from customs duty once if you meet the conditions, which saves money that does not show in the freight bill but does show in the total cost. See Lebanon used household goods customs for the exemption; for the move itself, read furniture moving from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon.
Car shipping prices from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon
Before the price: Lebanon refuses private cars over eight years old and any car with right-hand drive. If your car qualifies, these are our rates:
- Small car on a shared carrier: from SAR 2,300
- Large car or 4×4: from SAR 3,680
- Dedicated flatbed for one car, from any city: from SAR 4,140
In Lebanon, customs duty, consumption tax and 11% VAT are added, calculated from the car’s valuation and age, and the returnee household exemption does not cover cars. Our car shipping from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon guide sets out the rules and paperwork.
What is the air freight price per kg to Lebanon?
Our air rate begins at SAR 32 per kg. Cargo travels in the hold of Middle East Airlines flights to Beirut from four Saudi airports (Madinah, Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh) on the airline’s timetable. Tabuk and Taif have no direct flights, so their cargo goes via Riyadh or Jeddah at the same rate. The chargeable weight is the bigger of the actual and the dimensional weight, which is why air suits small, light and urgent items and not furniture. The air freight from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon page goes deeper.
And the sea? A container service links Jeddah Islamic Port with Beirut and Tripoli; door to door it needs around 15–25 days and suits full commercial boxes. We do not quote a fixed rate for it because it varies with the line and container size, so request a quote and we will compare it with the road for you.
What does the Lebanon shipping price include, and what does it not?
One point saves traders a lot: goods made in Saudi Arabia and shipped with a certificate of origin enter Lebanon free of customs duty under GAFTA, though VAT still applies. Our clearance service starts at SAR 276, and we tell you about any charges due before the shipment is released.
Does the price change with the Lebanese town?
Yes, but the difference is much smaller than the loading-city difference. Every shipment enters Lebanon through Masnaa in the Bekaa, so Zahle, Chtaura and Beirut are the closest drops. Keserwan and Jbeil need an extra day, the North, Akkar, the South and Nabatieh one to two days, and mountain villages with narrow roads may need a smaller vehicle for the last stretch. We do not publish a fixed figure for this because it depends on the address itself, so name the town when you ask for a quote.
How is the cost of shipping to Lebanon calculated?
We start from three questions: what you are shipping, from which city, and to which part of Lebanon. Then we price it one of two ways: by the piece if it is a set of items, or by volume and weight if it is a whole household or cargo. These are the factors that move the figure:
- Volume: cubic metres are the basis for furniture, and good dismantling reduces them
- Weight: decides the price of parcels, heavy goods and machinery
- Loading city: Tabuk and Madinah are cheaper, Dammam higher
- Type of truck: shared costs less but takes longer; dedicated moves sooner
- Special packing: wooden crates for antiques and sensitive appliances
- Insurance and storage: priced on value and duration

An example of how much the city matters: a family ships a bedroom, a fridge, a washer, a sofa and five parcels. From Tabuk the cost starts at 920 + 550 + 460 + 550 + (5 × 184) = SAR 3,400. From Riyadh, for roughly the same items: bedroom 1,840 + fridge 920 + washer 825 + sofa set 1,380 + (5 × 365) = SAR 6,790. If the shipment grows to a whole household, pricing it by volume can beat adding up pieces, and a full household starts at SAR 3,680 in the cities that publish that item.
Shared truck or your own truck: which costs less?
A shared truck groups several customers’ shipments heading to Lebanon, so you are charged only for the room your goods occupy. It is the cheapest option for parcels, cartons and a few pieces of furniture, and its only cost is a 3–5 day wait while the load fills. A dedicated truck is yours alone, leaves on your date and is not opened until delivery; 20 ft loads start at SAR 5,520 and 40 ft loads at SAR 7,360. It suits whole homes, villas, commercial cargo and customers working to an arrival date.

A rough rule: if your shipment is under half a truck, shared is usually cheaper; above that, compare both prices, and we will give you the two figures side by side on request.
What is the cheapest way to ship from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon?
- Shared road freight: from SAR 11 per kg instead of SAR 32 by air.
- Ship from the nearest point: if you have family in Tabuk or Madinah, loading there is cheaper.
- Dismantle everything: it cuts the volume and the price.
- Sell heavy items before you go: an old sofa can cost more to move than to replace.
- A certificate of origin for Saudi goods: it removes Lebanese customs duty.
- Returnee exemption: get the embassy list ready before you fly to benefit from it.
- Avoid rushing: booking early lets you use a shared truck rather than a dedicated one.
Warning signs in Lebanon shipping price adverts
While researching published prices we came across practices worth noticing before you book:
- Huge discounts with no basis: “up to 40% off” on prices that were high to begin with does not mean you pay less.
- Car prices with no age rule: a company that quotes for a car without asking its year of manufacture does not know Lebanon’s rules.
- Five-day sea freight: a container does not get from Jeddah to Beirut and on to your door that fast.
- “Our truck delivers straight to Beirut”: Saudi trucks do not currently cross Syria, and the load is transferred at Nassib.
- Tables that contradict themselves: a duration or price in the table that differs from the FAQ on the same page.
- Inflated per-kg rates for road parcels: compare them with the per-item price, and ask before paying if they clash.
Transit time against price
The cheapest option is not always the right one if time matters. This table sets time and price side by side for each method:
Note: times are to Beirut and the Bekaa; allow roughly one more day for Mount Lebanon and up to two for the northern and southern regions, and busy crossings can add more.
Payment and insurance
We invoice in Saudi riyals, payable inside the Kingdom, and your quote arrives on WhatsApp with full details of what it covers. Insurance is optional; no competitor publishes a rate for it, and we price it on the declared value of the contents, so request a quote if you want it, especially for appliances, antiques and cars.
